Week 1
Participants will set-up an account within our learning platform, complete a short introduction on their goals for the class and begin exploring a buffet of digital tools.
Learning Platform
All assignments will need to be posted to Google Classroom. Please register for our Google Classroom by entering the code below.

Week 2
Explore several of the following digital tools and choose a tool that you would like to use in your classroom during the Reflect stage of Inquiry. Build a lesson that will utilize the tool in a way that will develop at least one of the 4C's (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity).
Digital Tools
Have students create their own channels and share their video reflection with you.
Recap is a free student video response and reflection app. It gives teachers and parents insight into students’ learning and progress. Recap provides evidence of student thinking, improves formative assessment, and supports personalized learning.
Flipgrid is an active, social learning platform that engages learners through video-based discussion. The app extends the web-based environment and creates new possibilities for reflection, discussion, demonstration and collaboration.
Photobooth is an application on your students computers that allows them to record videos and save them to be uploaded.

Submit a brief description of your planned lesson and tool you will be using. This is due Friday, February 9th.
Week 3
Implement your lesson in the classroom. Share any materials, student work examples, or links on Google Classroom and reflect on the lesson.
Submit a reflection of your lesson. Describe what you like about the tool, what you might not have liked, examples of student work, which of the 4C's you were able to address and anything else you would like to share. This assignment is due February 16th.
Week 4
We will meet on February 28th from 3:30-4:30 in the elementary library to sharing tools, lessons and experiences.
