Week 1
Participants will set-up an account within our learning platform, complete a short introduction on their goals for the class and begin exploring a buffet of digital tools.

All assignments will need to be posted to Google Classroom. Please register for our Google Classroom by entering the code below.
Week 2
Explore several of the following digital tools and choose a tool that you would like to use in your classroom during the Wonder stage of Inquiry. Build a lesson that will utilize the tool in a way that will develop at least one of the 4C's (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity) and share in Google Classroom.

Think outside the box with some of these tools or use them for their original purpose. There is lots of potential in each of these tools.

VideoAnt is a web-based video annotation tool for mobile and desktop devices. Use VideoAnt to add annotations, or comments, to web-hosted videos. VideoAnt-annotated videos are called “Ants”.
Helps manage note, images, links and more in one canvas.
Recap is a video response and reflection app that allows students to record short videos (or typed text) in response to teacher prompts.

Submit a brief description of your planned lesson and tool you will be using. This is due Friday, October 13th.
Week 3
Implement your lesson in the classroom. Post lesson and any materials or links on Google Classroom and reflect on the lesson.
Submit a reflection of your lesson. Describe what you like about the tool, what you might not have liked, examples of student work, which of the 4C's you were able to address and anything else you would like to share. This assignment is due October 20th.
Week 4
We will meet on October 26th from 3:30-4:30 in the elementary library to share tools, lessons and experiences.
